A Penalty Clause is an agreement between the Candidate and the Company by which the Candidate voluntarily undertakes to remain in the Company for the time established in the Contract.
Some foreign companies include a penalty clause in their job offers to cover relocation costs; Hiring cost, accommodation management, training, support, etc.
In the Job Offers that we have published on our website, in the description you can see if the Offer comes with a Penalty Clause or not, and if it comes with a Penalty Clause, you will see the amount of the Penalty and the Minimum Time.
Example:
Penalty Clause
£400 - 12 months
In this Penalty Clause, the foreign Company requests a commitment from the Candidate for 12 months, and if the Candidate leaves the job before 12 months, the Company will penalize the Candidate £400 and deduct it from their final pay slip.
